Anime's Review - Monster

Actually, horror is not my favorite genre, but this one is different, it’s more about psychology. I have read the manga and watched the anime. The story tells about a brilliant brain surgeon, Tenma, being liked by his patients and such an honest and fine person. He believes that ‘every life is equal’.

Tenma was living in peaceful life until one day, patients arrive, a ten years old boy who got shot in his head, dying, there’s no one can save him except Tenma. The boy comes with his twin sister, who is in coma. And that time, other patient arrives, a rich person, and Tenma is ordered, by his superior to operate this rich person. But he doesn't obey the order, he just doing what he think is right, it is to save the boy’s life because he has arrived first.

Then, the boy saved, but the rich person is dead. Tenma is being blamed by his superior, but he still believes that he has done the right thing. And the other day, he is in hospital room, the boy's there, in good condition but still unconscious. Tenma is talking to himself beside that boy, he’s complaining about his job, about his superior who thought people life is not equal. He feels angry, and says something like it’s better if they are dead. But Tenma doesn't realize, when he said that, the boy who’s laid in bed is listening to him.
